Girls night Out

Adrienne's bracelet is a black waxed hemp cord bracelet with a unique design. On a single strand of black hemp cord, eleven glass beads of ice blue and maroon colors are strung to a certain point. Then I tied off a secondary strand to braid a short distance until I connect to the toggles. It is a rather interesting design.

Salina's anklet is a black waxed hemp cord with wood beads. An Oriental design is printed on it. The anklet has been braided with an alternate switch on the beads.

Camera modes....

The sun's warmth baked smoothly upon my back as I stood outside. Basking in the light of God's creations. Today was warm, sunny  and very bright. I find that taking a photo of the landscape in sepia filters the intensity of the bright sunshine.
No, it's not an abandoned hut out on a deserted island. That's on my yard. Sepia seems to be the best mode for taking photos of the light outside.

Yellow + Orange = Peach

Good morning/afternoon...

I find myself thinking about where creativity originates from. Where do artists get their creativity to design a masterpiece? Where do fashion designers get their thoughts of which silky fabric would work best with patent leather slinky heels? How do photographers take a photo of nature's beauty?

American glory is shown through this photo of our Nation's flag in motion. I took this photo yesterday morning while in town.

A bit of Random Peach fuzz...

So I was jamming to Happy Feet while making another bracelet. This one is different. This particular bracelet is for a friend of mine. His name is Josh. The bracelet is black hemp cord braided with three beads set in a design. He asked for a special request.....

Happy Feet is an interesting movie. The question is, are we really helping out the penguins and their food chain or are we screwing them over? Are we fishing in their territory and stealing their fish? They are part of the ecosystem too. It isn't a surprise that they haven't risen up and taken over the world since we seem to be messing up their food.

Well, that was random, penguin-ish and very off topic.......
Back to the bracelet.
This is it. I used my own twist of a braid, using thirteen strands, four strands for section with a fifth strand in the middle section. I braided up to a pre-chosen spot where I pulled out the fifth strand, tied a knot then strung the beads as follows: clear triangle, peridot cube, clear triangle and knotted after the triangle. I smoothly braided the loose strand into the braid itself, thus completing the hemp cord bracelet.

Chunky Bracelets

This is one of my designs. Chunky bracelets and yet delicate. I like it because it is unique, and an individual piece. Each design is different. Though the beads may look similar, each one is different, unique and hip.

A little Peachy-tidbits

Hi!
I'm Peach.
Here's some Peachy-tidbits for you to know:
I love pickles, not just any pickles. The large fat ones in the five gallon jar of Kosher Dill Pickles. Mmm..
I'm a relaxed sort of person, I only stress on the important things.
Peach is me though I really hate the fruit. All fuzzy and gross. Peach fuzz. Interesting enough, there's an ASL (American Sign Language) sign that deals with Peach fuzz. It's where you take your right hand, place it near your cheek and go down to your chin, indicating that you have "peach fuzz" facial hair. I have a friend, Adam who's deaf. That's his sign for me. Peach.

Well I'm getting off topic.

I first got into jewelry making, you could say at an early age. Though I wasn't very good at it. It wasn't until after high school when I first started making unique jewelry designs. I hardly make any two the same.

The same could be said for my hand designed cards. I do have a few that are similar and yet different. I shall have to post some of those another time....

Back to the basics: Designs by Peach is about uniquely designed jewelry: bracelets, anklets, necklaces, and earrings. Special requests are taken sometimes. I rarely give any of them away.
